Cozy restaurant, the food suits the tastes of adults

For the first time in 13yrs the food was under average which was a real disappointment as normally we love going here.

The food was amazing and service was better then ever.

I chose this restaurant for a dinner with my partner for her birthday and I was absolutely not disfigured. The location is wonderful, in Spinola bay on the sea, in a historic building. We ordered a few dishes because we had already had an aperitif. Anyway they make great pizza and the roasted squid (I recommend) was really good too. We also tasted the local wine which unexpectedly surprised us with its goodness. Friendly and helpful staff

Lovely terrace over water with a nice view, staff is very kind and the food was delicious. Really enjoyed the red home wine too! Had a really nice dinner there and the pricing was also fair and normal. Recommend!

Beautiful evening spent at the Piccolo Padre Restaurant. I advise anyone who is looking for a good restaurant to take it into consideration. Food, friendliness and impeccable cleanliness, all framed by a beautiful location overlooking the sea with the possibility of dining on the terrace enjoying the sea breeze. Fresh and well prepared products. We opted for the rabbit and the paella. Good value for money. Highly recommended, we'll be back. Good job guys, keep it up.

Beautiful place and great food, I recommend a rabbit, which is local specialty, with rose wine which is possible to get on the glass as well.

The prices are a bit high, especially for me who isn't used to it. However the food is very good, the only problem is that they use a tad too much olive oil.

Magnificent view, great restaurant, nice terrace. The best rabbit tagliatelle I've eaten in my life 😍 My girlfriend ordered a truffle pizza it was also an explosion of flavors. I recommend 100%! ATTENTION, to be well placed on the terrace, it is better to book in advance. Enjoy your meal'

View is priceless. You have to go on the terrace. Book in advance or you won't get a table. The decoration and location is very nice too. The food though is ok, nothing crazy. I feel like this place got too touristic. Typically as we arrived there, when I asked for the beers they had and the waitress told me "Badweiser, Heineken and Cisk" I knew it would not be a proper traditional Italian restaurant.

The tables on the terrace are really small, the service is very bad and the food is terrible, not tasty at all

O stars - walked out after the worst service and atmosphere. Manager needs some upskilling on how to run a restaurant. Disgrace. We went here last night after being recommended by a friend. From the beginning our experience was horrendous. The waitresses apologetically informed us that we had to go down to the manager to be seated. This first impression was bizzare as we know the waiting staff should know who comes in and out to provide a service! The manager was all over the place, rude and had no customer service skills. He was so busy stressing out and micromanaging all the (clearly hardworking and competent) staff that the entire atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable. Eventually we were seated after waiting 20 minutes for the manager to stop disrespecting the wolt delivery collectors. When seated, we were left wait a further 30 minutes for menus. While waiting we witnessed several micromanaging altercations between the manager to his staff. It was obvious there is no system in place for the waiters and waitresses to follow to ensure the tables all receive service. Eventually a kind young waiter noticed us and grabbed us some menus before he was shouted at again by the manager to do another task, which evidently left us forgotten again. There were a lot of tables around us very clearly agitated by the lack of good service, we watched a table of a mother and three children wait 25 minutes for their bill even after sending food back for being undercooked. So we waited a further 20 minutes, recieved no service so we stormed out. We walked straight past the managers desk and again, went unnoticed. That says enough about his service We really felt for all the waiters and waitresses, they were doing their best, given their management circumstances. Unfortunate experience as the restaurant came highly recommended and the food looked very good.

Spacious, polite and Covid 19 protection complied staff. Excellent menu. I recommend the Maltese pizza!

Terrible service and food. The view is nice but the restaurant very disappointing.

Bad service, grumpy waiter and, despite knowing how to speak Italian, after booking, he takes us to the door with an unpleasant joke towards our language. Very low quality food and, icing on the cake, out of the blue we find a cockroach on the salad plate. Paella highly discouraged, it has nothing to do with the Spanish one as it is a mixture of recycled food. If you come to Malta, despite the high level location, we strongly advise against it.

We ate 3 things from these place and we both got food poisonings, we are both very ill and it is destroying our holidays
